Core skills (Frances Hansen) Image

Untitled, Rob McLeish (gravitiy stole my eyelid), 2011, Pencil and collage on paper, 29.5 x 21cm

This image makes me feel upside down, because of the upside down legs , i think he used mostly pencil and magazine cut outs

Studio Drawing 2, Kathrine Huang, 2004
I really like this image, the contrast between the white and black really stands out. What i found really interesting about this image was the use of materials, i think she used pencil, highlighters, water paints and probably more that i cant distinguish

Richard Orjis, Mud Drawing
Just looking at this picture i would have never known it was created with mud, i would've assumed it was made from different acrylic browns, even browns diluted in water. I found this image interesting because of the symmetry and the tools that were used to make these marks and lines in the picture

Photography Statement

The challenge is reading a picture that has no words. Imagining more than what the eye captures.
